Minor sodomised, killed by 17-year-old neighbour

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a minor was allegedly sodomised and murdered by a 17-year-old boy in Hyderabad, the police said on Thursday.

The boy had been missing from June 28. His parents said he had gone out to play, when he didn’t return until late in the night, they paniced and lodged a complaint with Chandrayangutta Police Station.
According to west zone Deputy Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana, the 11-year old boy Mohammed Khan went missing from his residence at Barkas area. His parents lodged a complaint after their search for him in the area yielded no results.
During the investigations, the police found that he was last seen with his 17-year-old neighbour. The accused was identified with the help of CCTV footage and picked up for questioning.
The accused confessed to the police that he had unnatural sex with the boy the same day behind a water tanker. Later, he was afraid that the boy would reveal his deed to his family members, so he picked up a rod and smashed him.
Chandrayanagutta Police Inspector Y Prakash Reddy told Mirror, “The boy had been detained on charge of unnatural sex (section 377 of Indian Penal Code) and was produced before the juvenile court. Both the victim and the accused were from poor backgrounds. While the victim’s father is an auto driver, the accused was working in a local pan shop for a daily pay. The inspector said the boy was influenced by porn sites.
